Dashboard Subscription Plans: Basic vs Premium

The AirGradient Dashboard is free to use, and it will continue to be.

All users have access to essential features without any subscription, including:

• 24/7 cloud data recording
• Real-time air quality data
• Data export
• API access
  

You can use your monitor and access your data without ever paying.

What Premium Subscription is (and what it isn’t)

Premium dashboard subscription is optional and not required to use your device or access basic functionality. You only need a premium subscription if need access to long term historical data, than 90 days.

It is priced at $2 / month / per location.

When you purchase a new AirGradient monitor, you receive a free Premium trial:

• AirGradient ONE: 12 months
• AirGradient Open Air: 24 months

During this period, you get full access to all Premium features.

After this included period ends, your Locations will switch to the Basic (free) plan unless you choose to upgrade.

Why we introduced Premium

As the AirGradient community has grown, so has the amount of data we process.

This has led to increasing server and infrastructure costs, higher demand for data storage (especially long-term history and finally more strain on system performance.

To keep the platform reliable and continue improving it, we needed a sustainable way to cover these costs.

How Premium works

Premium is applied per Location, not per device or account.

This means:

• You can upgrade only the Locations that need it
• You can mix Basic and Premium within the same dashboard
• You stay in control of your costs

Free Premium for shared outdoor data

If you share your outdoor data with OpenAQ, you automatically receive free Premium for that Location
